ABOUT I.D.E.A.
OUR MISSION
I.D.E.A.’s mission is to provide a solution for intellectual direct democracy, built on foundations of transparency and meritocracy. We position ourselves as a testing ground and by evidencing these principles in I.D.E.A. we hope to create a model for change in other organizations.
OUR PURPOSE
We empower and offer a participatory income for people to actively improve their communities, while creating an open-source decentralized governing system that allows for I.D.E.A. to be completely run by its members. We believe this will result in not only happy communities but happy and fulfilled members of those communities.

MERITOCRACY
METHOD

Our 15 years of experience with managing volunteers and the successful implementation of more than 500 community actions of variable aims, has given us the possibility to create an innovative meritocratic procedure that allows for the ‘smooth’ cooperation of strangers.
INTELLECTUAL DIRECT
DEMOCRACY

I.D.E.A. procedures are designed in order to facilitate within it, a governance of intellectual direct democracy.
Gain the right to vote by becoming an active citizen and co-manage I.D.E.A. Let’s test democracy on a small scale!

Our Past Actions
At I.D.E.A., we have a strong track record of empowering communities to lead positive change through a range of community-led initiatives, also known as AntArts. In the past, we have organized and supported projects such as tree planting, balcony garden workshops, feeding the homeless, and beach clean-ups, among others. Through these AntArts, we have worked to address pressing social and environmental issues, while promoting active citizenship and social responsibility.
